Urologists are physicians who treat diseases of the urinary tract in men and women. Urologists also help deal with problems of the reproductive system, which includes the organs related to the urinary tract.
Nephrologist or urologist?
Nephrologists specialize in kidney disease, nephrology is a specialty of internal medicine. Unlike urologists, nephrologists do not perform surgery.

Another essential activity of the urologist is related to the prevention and treatment of prostate cancer. All men over a certain age are subject to screening depending on their risk.
50 years old age for men who are at average risk of prostate cancer
Age 45 years for men with high risk from developing prostate cancer. This includes men who have a first-degree relative (father or brother) diagnosed with prostate cancer at an early age (under 65).
40 years of age for men with very high risk (those with more than one first-degree relative who had prostate cancer at an early age)
