Liliana Lazarova-Yaneva was born on 31.01.1960 in Varna. She finished her secondary education in 1979 at the IV Language School "Fr.Joliot-Curie". In 1984 she graduated in "Pre-school Pedagogy" at the University of Pedagogy in Blagoevgrad. In 1988 she graduated as a Master in Speech Pedagogy at the University of Sofia "St. Kliment Ohridski".
She holds a Master's degree in Educational Management. Since 1884 he has been working as a speech therapist at the Speech Therapy School-Varna, successor of the Centre for Support of Personal Development-Varna Speech Therapy Centre. Since 1998 she has been the director of the Speech Therapy Centre-Varna.
During her 34 years of experience in the specialty, Ms. Lazarova has treated patients with various communicative disorders - developmental dysphasia, speech rate and fluency disorders, articulation disorders, rhinolalia, hearing and speech disorders, written speech disorders, and childhood aphasia. Her professional interests are in the area of disorders of speech rate and fluency (stuttering). She has worked with preschool, school age and out of school age patients.
She holds a second professional-qualification degree, acquired in 2005 after a one-year specialization at the Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski", culminating in the defense of a diploma thesis on "Communication in the educational-correction process in children with sensory, intellectual and speech disorders". She holds a diploma in French - level C2, issued by the Ministry of Culture and Education of the Republic of France.
She has participated in numerous scientific forums with papers on topics related to speech therapy practice and theory, some of which have been published in specialized collections such as:
